Dave is a graduate of Wall High School and began his career in 1995 while attending Brookdale Community College’s Automotive Technology Program. He invested every free moment into learning newer automotive technology and attending independent training classes to become an Advanced Master Technician. He is a TDI (diesel) specialist and has performed multiple newer Volkswagen drivetrain swaps into non-German cars. He holds the (L1 & L3), (A1-A9) Advanced ASE Master Automobile Technician and Hybrid Automobile Certifications and is the “go-to” guy for all diagnostic troubleshooting.
Dave purchased Autobahn Automotive in 2002 and has been the driving force behind the shop’s high standards of automotive repair, customer service, and code of ethics. He has worked in many shops where unqualified technicians are “learning” on jobs they aren’t qualified to perform. Dave is an avid cuboid-puzzle enthusiast. He also enjoys playing bass guitar and spending time with his family.
Ryan grew up in Toms River, NJ, and attended Toms River High School East. He completed an associate degree in business management/administration and is currently three classes away from a bachelor’s in computer science and mathematics. He lived in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, where he worked on car commercials while traveling the US and Canada.
Ryan has been in the automotive industry for close to 12 years and has worked in various facets of the industry, such as car detailing, automotive technician, service advisor, sales, and finance, but always worked with German manufacturers.
When not at work, Ryan spends his time on the water, playing with his jeep in the woods, mountain biking, landscape photography, doing yard work, enjoying time with his girlfriend, tracking thunderstorms, and is an avid follower of technology and computers.
Kristen is the initial point of contact at Autobahn Automotive, her cheerful attitude is matched by her great attention to detail. Kristen brings non-automotive experience to Autobahn Automotive, fostering an approachable and friendly experience with clients and vendors, turning them into lasting relationships.
Born, raised, and currently residing in Point Pleasant, Kristen attended Rutgers University and graduated with a degree in Psychology. Her spare time is devoted to watching & playing soccer, enjoying the beach, and rooting on the New York Jets and New Jersey Devils.
