Owner & Master Diagnostician

Dave is a graduate of Wall High School and began his career in 1995 while attending Brookdale Community College’s Automotive Technology Program. He invested every free moment into learning newer automotive technology and attending independent training classes to become an Advanced Master Technician. He is a TDI (diesel) specialist and has performed multiple newer Volkswagen drivetrain swaps into non-German cars. He holds the (L1 & L3), (A1-A9) Advanced ASE Master Automobile Technician and Hybrid Automobile Certifications and is the “go-to” guy for all diagnostic troubleshooting.

Dave purchased Autobahn Automotive in 2002 and has been the driving force behind the shop’s high standards of automotive repair, customer service, and code of ethics. He has worked in many shops where unqualified technicians are “learning” on jobs they simply aren’t qualified to perform. Dave is an avid cuboid-puzzle enthusiast. He also enjoys playing bass guitar, working on Pontiac Fieros (a cult car from the 1980’s), trying new craft beers, and spending time with his family.

Store Manager

Ryan is an ASE Master Technician that has been with Autobahn since 2010. He received an Associate Degree in Automotive Technology from Raritan Valley Community College, with a Golden Wrench Award (top of his class). He never applied for the job at Autobahn. Dave saw his custom fabrication work and sought him out. After talking, Dave offered him a position, and Ryan relocated to the Jersey Shore.

Ryan used to race his Porsche in the 944 Cup with the Porsche Club of America. He also worked in the pit crew for the SCCA. Ryan married his longtime girlfriend in 2019, and they live together with their dog, Gus. He spends most of his free time boating and doing other water activities.

Kristen is the initial point of contact at Autobahn Automotive, her cheerful attitude is matched by her great attention to detail. Kristen brings non-automotive experience to Autobahn Automotive, fostering an approachable and friendly experience with clients and vendors, turning them into lasting relationships.

Born, raised, and currently residing in Point Pleasant, Kristen attended Rutgers University and graduated with a degree in Psychology. Her spare time is devoted to watching & playing soccer, enjoying the beach, and rooting on the New York Jets and New Jersey Devils.

Alyssa graduated in 2010 from Ocean Township High School and the Monmouth County Vocational School program after completing the 2 year General Automotive course. She has always enjoyed fixing things with her own hands, which led her to immediately join the workforce as an entry-level technician at a foreign car dealership. After several years of gaining hands-on experience in the shop, an injury placed her behind the service department desk, where she puts her knowledge to work for her clients.

Alyssa spends her free time cooking with her friends and taking long drives on the weekends. She enjoys traveling in and out of the country or at home playing video games with her Maine Coon cat, Navi at her side.

Parts Associate/Service Advisor

Kate joined our team in August 2021 and is our dedicated parts associate with a pep in her step and upbeat personality. She recently married her boyfriend of six years. Her experience with the automotive world began with helping her husband, a mobile diesel mechanic, with oil changes, fleet maintenance, and running parts for medium and heavy duty equipment on the weekends. For a visual, tractor-trailers, farm equipment, and tree trimming equipment! Jersey-born and raised, Kate received her Bachelor’s in Graphic Design Communications from Philadelphia University. When she is not in the shop, she spends her time camping with her husband, photographing landscapes, volunteering with her local fire department, and riding horses. Her goal is to have her own horse farm with her husband and go camping in Yellowstone!

Master Technician

Ryan is an ASE certified master tech who started his interest in cars at the age of 12 when his father bought a new Camaro.

His love for racing led him into working cars, dirt bikes and jet skis even before he held a driver’s license.
A lifelong resident of the Jersey shore he attended Brick Township high school and started his automotive career right after graduating in 1997.

He quickly earned his Master Technician certification along with his L1 Advanced Engine Performance Specialist, L2 Electronic Diesel Engine Diagnosis Specialist, L3 Light Duty Hybrid/ Electric Vehicle Specialist and A1 through A9 Certifications.

Ryan is an avid fisherman and hunter. He spends much of his free time offshore fighting big game, or sitting perched in a tree stand after that next big buck.

He competes and builds vehicles for the NMCA True Street series and is part of the crew of one of the fastest street legal cars on the road.

Automotive Technician

Chris started working on cars at 13 years old at his father’s shop in South Toms River. After high school, he joined the marine corps and worked on the AV8-B as an airframe mechanic and a marksmanship instructor. To relax, he would work on his Jeep and race it at the Little Doo Mud Bog.

More recently, Chris enjoys spending his time with his fiancé and his daughter. They enjoy fishing, spearfishing, and kayaking on the weekends.

Arvene joined our team in March 2020 as an Automotive Technician. He grew up in Ortley Beach, New Jersey, and attended Toms River High School East. After graduating high school in 2014, he went on to attend the automotive program at Brookdale Community College. He is an ASE Certified Technician and is aiming to become a Certified ASE Master Technician.

His favorite type of vehicle to own and work on are German. In Arvene’s free time, he likes to visit new areas with bars and restaurants. Always wanting to find good food, drinks, and craft beer. He is a very avid surfer and always wants to be on the beach.

David Eurell

David graduated from Marlboro High School and Lincoln Tech. When he isn’t turning wrenches in our shop, he spends most of his time fishing, and he has a collection of 13 snakes. He is a diesel truck enthusiast too.
David handles most of the initial assessments and general repairs and is working towards his ASE Master Technician certificate.

Quality Control Technician

Since he was a toddler, Gilbert has been into cars and has been helping his grandpa restore them. As he grew up, his love for cars only grew more prominent. Gilbert joined our team to expand his knowledge. He ensures all vehicles leaving our shop have been thoroughly checked over and repaired to our high standards.

Gilbert’s job here is as the quality control technician. He is the last link in the chain of repairs, as well as the one who keeps the shop looking new, giving anyone a hand when they need it.

Social Media Manager

Cole joined the Autobahn team in October of 2021 as the social media manager, working to create Facebook and Instagram posts and manage our online presence.
Cole is a graduate of Salve Regina University, where he studied Financial Management and Marketing. He has had a passion for cars his entire life and loves to bring that passion to the media he creates. When not obsessing over the automotive industry, Cole is an avid sailor in his free time. He enjoys anything to do with the water. Competing and racing since the age of seven and even previously working as a sailing coach for his local yacht club.
